  • Miss Emma Hollick is an internationally recognised ophthalmic surgeon based in London. She has over 15 years experience as an NHS consultant at one of London's leading university teaching hospitals, King’s College Hospital, where she leads a large corneal service. She is a specialist in cataract surgery and her research interests include intraocular lens implants. Miss Hollick is an exceptional surgeon with a complication rate well below the national average. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented research at major ophthalmology conferences in the UK, Europe and the US.

    Miss Hollick qualified from Oxford University in 1992 and trained in Ophthalmology at Moorfields Eye Hospital. She gained her research MD at St Thomas’ Hospital, London. In 2004 she joined King’s College Hospital as a Consultant Ophthalmic surgeon.


    Specialist interests


    Cornea: modern corneal transplant surgery (lamellar surgery and descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty), keratoconus, pterygium, dry eye, allergic eye disease.

    Cataract surgery including toric and multifocal lens implants
